Long before the concept of outsourcing became an industry trend Carol Levey recognized that there are times when an apartment community might consider bringing in a temporary leasing specialist as a solution to a staffing problem. There were certainly circumstances that could warrant the consideration - unexpected staffing shortages, leasing quotas not being met, unplanned vacancy problems, new construction lease-up and the special needs of repositioning vintage communities.
With this vision as her guide Carol carefully started building a set of performance standards, a customer-friendly pricing structure and an equitable service contract. Understanding the objectives of her management clients she groomed a team that was focused and trained to hit the "ground running" when they walked onto a property. Behind the scenes she would continue to listen to both her staff and the client. She would confront issues immediately and resolve conflict by always seeking client satisfaction as standard operating procedure.
Since founding Levey Enterprises, Inc. in 1984 Carol has been a hands-on decision-maker using sweat and capital to build what now stands as the multihousing industry's second largest company of its kind in the U.S.
Her passion for training along with her product and market knowledge has given her a competitive edge both in recruiting and retaining top leasing specialists. Her expertise creates additional value to Levey clients. Her longevity in the industry as well as her determination to foster solid business relationships have resulted in an expanding network of repeat and referral business.
